私のものと決めた住吉の浜の小松は

将来もずっと私の松（もの）です

「住吉」は、現在の大阪市住吉区、住之江区、東住吉区、平野区一帯。

住吉の小松とは、住吉の少女を松(木、梅、月、松は恋人をさす)にたとえた相聞(恋歌)の一首と言えるのではないでしょうか。

おそらくは、難波の宮などへ行く途上で住吉を訪れたときに出会った少女と恋仲となり、「君は成人した後も私のものだよ」と将来の婚姻を誓った歌なのでしょう。

「後も我が松」私も言われてみたいです…。

原文：印結而　我定義之　住吉乃　濱乃小松者　後毛吾松

Sumiyoshi" refers to the present-day Sumiyoshi, Suminoe, Higashi Sumiyoshi, and Hirano wards of Osaka City.

Sumiyoshi no Komatsu" could be said to be a piece of a sōmon (love poem) in which a girl in Sumiyoshi is compared to a pine tree (tree, plum tree, moon, pine tree refers to a lover).

The poet probably fell in love with a girl he met when he visited Sumiyoshi on his way to the palace in Namba, and pledged his future marriage to her, saying, "You will be mine even after you come of age.

I wish I could say "You will be mine even after you come of age.
